Activu and enxchange have partnered up for a groundbreaking showcase at the Distributech 2024 Expo in Orlando, Florida. This collaboration will integrate a variety of technologies and vendors into a Next-Gen Energy Ecosystem experience. The showcase will feature state-of-the-art Distributed Energy Resource Management and Event-Driven Visualization platforms connected to a fully mobile Microgrid, all conveniently located on the Distributech exhibit floor.
Joining Activu and enxchange in this innovative display are Planar, Winsted, Q-SYS, and AMD. Together, these companies aim to deliver a comprehensive demonstration environment, offering attendees a firsthand look at cutting-edge solutions for utility operations teams.
Tom Polivka, VP of Sales at Activu, emphasized the importance of bringing together forward-thinking organizations and products in one space. He stated, "The role of the Next-Gen Energy Ecosystem is to array the most forward-thinking organizations and products in a convenient show space, so energy utility providers can experience all the leading, cutting-edge solutions and information firsthand, and in one place."
David Swank, CEO of enxchange, highlighted the increasing need for comprehensive operational insights in the energy sector. He explained, "Each solution represented in the ei360 platform, like a VPP or IDRP, is pivotal to an operational environment experiencing a surge in data volume, where efficient data handling and collaboration are essential for optimizing operations."
In addition to Distributech, the Next-Gen Energy Ecosystem from Activu and enxchange will be showcased at the NRECA Tech Advantage Expo in San Antonio, Texas.
Interactive demonstrations at the exhibit will include:
Activu: Featuring their vis/ability software platform, which securely bundles SCADA, applications, visual content, video streams, devices, and resources into a dynamic view of operations. This platform enables efficient collaboration in an Integrated Operations environment.
enxchange: Showcasing the ei360 platform, which connects the physical environment through digital twin technology, orchestrating assets to be managed as a system of systems. This platform addresses grid modernization, renewable energy integration, microgrids, demand response management, data analytics, and more. Additionally the enx Mobile Microgrid will be on site to walk through and see the integrations and orchestration taking place in real time.
The Next-Gen Energy Ecosystem from Activu and enxchange will be available for exploration at booth #1425 at the Distributech International Expo from February 27-29, and at booth #1729 at the NRECA Tech Advantage Expo from March 4-6, 2024.
